The Camouflage Act

It is one of the pillars of indirect observation . A camouflage act is when you blend in with the surroundings by seeming as though you're busy or occupied with something. Still, in fact, your goal is to observe indirectly, especially through splatter vision and micro-gaze in the art of indirect observation.  --There is yet to be uncovered in the Art of Observation---   So stay tuned and keep observing 🕵

Micro-gaze

A method of approach that I would like to call the '' Micro gaze '' is crafted to observe without drawing attention. ', it is a way of observing with a short duration of time of the gaze. Its duration is no more than half a second to one second. This can be done up to three times, but if you do it more than that, make sure it's as little as possible.   By utilizing micro-gaze, you can remain hidden and avoid extended looks that might betray the act of observation.   This method is a pillar of  indirect observation  techniques because it allows accuracy and requires us to use memory and imagination to form imagery of 'what we are observing' in our head.  --There is yet to be uncovered in the Art of Observation---   So stay tuned and keep observing 🕵

What is a Deductionist? and How you can become one

Image
A deductionist is a person who skillfully reads people through observation and analysis and uses logical reasoning to deduce conclusions from the facts available.   They are adept at critical thinking, have a keen eye for detail, and can make connections between seemingly unconnected observations. Deductionists conclude the world by looking for patterns, removing irrelevant information, and depending on facts and logical principles.   They are adept at detecting subtle clues, such as body language, tone of voice, clothing, or physical state, and interpreting them to figure out a person's feelings, ideas, or situation.   To precisely and thoroughly uncover hidden truths behind the big picture, deductionists need to possess keen observation, the ability to recognize patterns, and a thorough understanding of human psychology.   This skill of a deductionist is very universal as this can be applied almost in any domain. Detectives can use this skill to solve cases an...

The 3 Reasonings of Deduction

Image
In my earlier post, I talked about deduction and how it uses the 3 logical reasonings: 1. Abductive reasoning (Abduction) 2. Inductive reasoning (Induction) 3. Deductive reasoning (Deduction [''in reasoning sense'']) In this post, I will go into depth about these 3 logical reasonings. [Each one is explained through different pages through the link given below] 1. ABDUCTION  ABDUCTION PAGE (click here) 2. InDUCTION  INDUCTION PAGE (click here) 3. DEDUCTION [in reasoning sense] DEDUCTION PAGE (click here) Since it is important to understand the type of reasoning and how we apply it when making deductions, I have offered the three logical reasonings for deduction above.   We often fall into the guessing trap if we don't notice these reasonings, because we wouldn't know how we reason in the first place. We are now analysts because we analyze and reason rather than only guessing, which might result in inaccurate responses and, of course, leave us uninformed an...

Mindfulness -Key to Observation

Image
 1. About Mindfulness : Mindfulness is a mindset or state of mind as i would like to call that revolves around the concept of '' Self Awareness ' ' i.e. knowing one's self, ones own thoughts, feelings, emotions, purpose, strengths ,weaknesses, the list goes on.  Its knowing:  'Where you are', ''When you are'', and  'Who you are'. in relation to the world around you at any given moment. This  introspection sense of understanding and knowing who you are would allow clarity for thought and singularity of purpose, being bagged down by cares, worries and self-doubt clouds the mind and robs you from your limited attention. But this something an individual should fix by themselves. Being mindful of who and where you are sets your mind to naturally gather information about your environment which is essential for observation which then leads to deduction. Now Self awareness is just the first step to begin with. Remember earlier I mentioned Min...

Observation (Introduction)

Image
What is observation? It is backbone of deduction as it is the very first step to start deducing. Observation is the action or process of closely observing or paying attention, or to monitor something, to Notice. It also means: Inspection Attention Study Monitoring  examining  'Observing' is not the same as seeing. Seeing is one part of it. Seeing is just looking around without paying attention to them. As for observation, you observe and pay attention actively to something to gather information of it. For Example: Imagine walking down the street and seeing a person in front of you. You notice he’s holding keys in his right hand.  By observing the keys, you might determine what type they are—a house key or a car key. If it’s a car key, you can deduce that the person owns a car and likely drives.  By paying attention to where he’s heading, you could even figure out which car is his, if he approaches one.  Now consider another scenario:  you see a woman...

Introduction to Deduction

Image
Deduction as used by deductionists and mentalists is the practice of r easoning  with the combined logical reasoning of : Induction Abduction Deduction i n order to form the most educated '' conclusion''   possible with the given information. I posted about these 3 logical reasonings in detail this site. Here is the link to that post: https://deductionalyst.blogspot.com/2024/12/the-3-reasonings-of-deduction.html   This skill helps you uncover the truth, understand why things happen, at some instances read peoples mind. To be able to know things about a person just by observing (paying attention) to their appearance like Sherlock Holmes. To Deduce it begins with Observation  which i will talk about in detail in my later posts.
