Body Language
Body Language also known as nonverbal language, is an unspoken language we all exhibit to express our emotions, thoughts, and intentions through physical behavior.
It is the language that we use throughout our lives, other than speaking.
It is our facial expressions and body reactions when we respond to something, like smiling and our hands to hug when we see our favorite person.
Knowing body language means understanding that our face and body also communicate. To see beyond words.
Why is body language important?
1. Detect true feelings:
People might say things but their body reactions would say another, and body language is often very honest.
2.It helps us understand others:
By observing body language you can read their emotions like happiness, anger, nervousness, etc.
3. Improves communication:
Understanding a person's feelings can give you an idea of how to talk to them.
Here is a demonstration of how to read people through body language.

Our job is to identify the facial expression of the girl from the image above. Can you guess it?
The answer is 'disgust' If you guessed it correctly, you should consider yourself emotionally smart; if not, it's okay because reading facial expressions requires knowledge and experience. Of course, there are also those who are deductionists or who are aware of body language.

Here's another one that involves gestures.
What is she feeling?
The answer is anxiety, in general, it would be apprehension (apprehension means negative feelings like nervousness, anxiety, fear, worry, unease etc)
These are demonstrations to give the idea of how you can read the meanings behind bodily and facial behaviors.
Deductionists and even mentalists use body language to read people and they are adept at it.
