DEDUCTION
Deductive Reasoning:
It is a reasoning that starts from general principles to explain something specific ( to explain lines of details from the true big picture)
General principle: A) All dogs can bark
Data: B) Larry is a dog
Conclusion: C) Larry can bark
To get the idea remember this way:
A=B
B=C
therefore A=C
The general principle is a True Universal fact. ( Which means fact which is 100% true)
Remember it as:
To De-duce as De-crease
Deductive reasoning guarantees the truth of the conclusion if the theory is true to the principle.
In deduction, you use this reasoning when you are certain that the data is true and draw specific conclusions from the data, this allows the accuracy of logic in the conclusion.
Example: If your initial equations are correct and you follow the rules of algebra your solution will be accurate.
