Deducing People in Person

To be able to deduce people in person

You will first need to observe their appearance and attire for clues to deduce.

1. The first step in this process is a system of observation when it comes to observing a person.

That system is an observation from head-to-toe.

Head

---Appearance of hair and head adornments.

Face

---clues appear on the face like scars, appearance of face or facial

accessories

Arms

 1. Hands

--- Observe them for recent activities. They show activities, hobbies, and handshakes that might help to get some insights.

Even their hand accessories could give some insights

Examples: stains of pen ink on the hand, calluses from using a guitar, or from heavy lifting.

2. Even The forearms to shoulders also could give some insights. Like a tattoo, sleeves, or a folded cuff from a barber bc the job requires active use of arms

Torso

--Their attire, like jackets, creases, stains, and their physique could tell if they are athletic or active in the gym.

 foot

--The feet carry information about where the person has been, In general, their location and activities.

Then Overall appearance

--means their financial status based on attire and clues, grooming habits, the color of attire, neck, style, height, wear, and tear on clothes, type of attire could tell about the profession, their build, and posture,

And of course, the clues you get from observing a person vary so knowing based on those is necessary to deduce them.

Also, bear in mind the system of observation step from the above is only observation, meaning in this step you have to gather data but not yet theorize and come to a conclusion. Only after this step do you, theorize and deduce.

Advice for beginners: When observing a person, try not to do it in a way you end up glaring at that person when thinking or deducing. Instead, make it subtle and natural, especially in face-to-face deducing.

As for making deduction/conclusion statements, first I want to say avoid doing it cold and seriously like BBC Sherlock, You would want to make your statement with an open demeanor to avoid coming off insulting.

Ask A Question

Begin by asking a question from your observation and u know is correct.to appear interested.

Mention you conclusions

For example: when you deduce a person who has when doing sports, you would begin asking "Oh you do sports?" and if that person answers then you start saying your deductions.

And if you want you can refer your observations to them like Sherlock Holmes.
